| Fellowship
at the PDCSC was a rare opportunity in Gainesville to interact with,
learn from, and become friends with students and community members from
all walks of life. It was the most welcoming and open church
group that we have belonged to, and a place where our ideas could
expand and grow through diverse types of fellowship, Bible study, and
worship. It was also a place where we could put our faith into
action to serve the local community and beyond. One of our
fondest memories from UF was our spring break trip with the PDCSC group
to build Habitat for Humanity houses in Charlesston, SC. -Greg and Callie Babbitt |
| The
PDCSC was my home away from home while I lived in Gainesville. The
open, welcoming environment and the spiritual connection of the place
were my refuge from a crazy first year of college. However, the extent of the PDCSC has continued throughout my college career, and the friendships forged at the PDCSC are life-long bonds I'll carry with me for years to come. -Kelsie Ruff |
| I'm so proud of all that you are doing in Christ and for the love and joy you are spreading! Keep up the good works! In his grip, Chandra H. |
Thank
you for all of your support while we were in Gainesville. With all the
traveling we do, it is important for us to have a place to stop and
eat. And, of course, it is important for us to find a place for us to
rest our bodies and sleep at night. Thank you for your generous
hospitality. -Coalition of Immokalee Workers |
The
PDCSC has been a very special place for me in my time here as a student
at UF. The service trips and retreats rejuvenate my spirit and remind
me that there's more to life than school. The welcoming atmosphere
helps to promote interesting and challenging discussions at many of the
weekly events, which I always look forward to. Most importantly, I
built friendships here that I'm sure will outlive my time in
Gainesville. -Kristoph Anderson |
